Two shaman masks: one of carved wood originating with the Yao people of China and Vietnam (measuring approximately 12" high, 6" wide and 5" deep), the other a metal piece believed to be Nepalese in origin (measuring approximately 9 1/2" high, 8" wide and 2" deep). The Yao mask has quite a bit of surface wear and a second set of holes has been drilled into the sides to affix a new, replacement strap for wear. The Nepalese mask exhibits wear and patina conistent with age in addition to several instances of scratches.
