Non-Nacreous Natural Quahog Pearls. Total Carat weight: 17.8. Purple and lavender colors, Egg, teardrop, and baroque shapes. Three Pearls total includes a 4.9 Ct: 10.5 mm x 7.6 mm, 5.8 Ct: 12.7 mm x 6 mm, 7 Ct: 19.4 mm x 8.3 mm. Untreated and unmounted. Natural surface with Inclusions and imperfections. Northern Quahog Mercenaria, Harvested in Barrington Rhode Island 1930's-1940's. This is one of eight lots in this auction from the same family of fishermen and dock workers.
