Non-Nacreous Natural Quahog Pearls. Total Carat weight: 14.7. Purple and lavender colors, Egg, button, and ovoid shapes. Four Pearls total includes a 6.7 CT: 10 mm x 9.4 mm, 3.2 Ct: 7.2 mm x 8.2mm, 2.1 Ct: 9.8 mm x 6.6mm, 2.5 Ct: 5.3mm x 7.7 mm. Untreated and unmounted. Natural surface with Inclusions and imperfections. Northern Quahog Mercenaria, Harvested in Barrington Rhode Island 1930's-1940's. This is one of eight lots in this auction from the same family of fishermen and dock workers.
