Non-Nacreous Natural Quahog Pearls. Total Carat weight: 8.9. Purple and lavender colors, Egg, and button shapes. Four Pearls total includes a 1.9 Ct: 4.7 mm x 7.2 mm, .7 Ct: 3.3 mm x 5 mm, 3.0 Ct: 8.9 mm x 6.5 mm, 3.2Ct: 6.2 mm x 8.3 mm. Untreated and unmounted. Natural surface with Inclusions and imperfections. Northern Quahog Mercenaria, Harvested in Barrington Rhode Island 1930's-1940's. This is one of eight lots in this auction from the same family of fishermen and dock workers.
