Non-Nacreous Natural Quahog Pearls. Total Carat weight: 27.6. Egg, button, and ovoid shapes. Five Pearls total includes an 8.9 Ct: 12.8 mm x 9.8 mm, 6.0 Ct: 11 mm x 8.5 mm, 3.1 Ct: 8.7 mm x 5.9 mm, 5.6 Ct: 8.4 mm x 9.3 mm, 3.9 Ct: 7 mm x 8.3 mm. Untreated and unmounted. Natural surface with Inclusions and imperfections. Northern Quahog Mercenaria, Harvested in Barrington Rhode Island 1930's-1940's. This is one of eight lots in this auction from the same family of fishermen and dock workers.
