Included here are four works by different artists: first, "Mountain Trail", signed and dated by "Ross 1894" in the work itself. Oil on canvas. This is the largest shipping item, with artwork measuring approximately 11 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" high by sight and appears in fine condition. Not inspected out of frame. Wooden frame measures approximately 16 1/4" wide, 12 1/4" high and 2 1/2" deep. Frame is in fair condition, exhibiting some wear to the finish and chips and dings throughout the moulding. Next, "Forest Stream" by American artist Morris Seymour Bloodgood (1845 - 1920). Signed (as M.S. Bloodgood) and dated (78) in the work itself. Oil on canvas. Artwork is in fair condition. The canvas appears to be loosening resulting in slight warping on the image. Not inspected out of frame. Wooden frame is likewise in fair condition with dings, scuffs and nicks present throughout. The matting exhibits a degree of staining as well. Next, "Bridge Over River", signed on work by "Clay". Artwork appears in generally fine condition. There is a scratch perhaps an inch long above the painted bridge. Not inspected out of frame. Wooden frame is in poor condition. Besides the expected scuffs, dings and nicks, pieces of the finish are chipping away (especially evident at the corners of the piece) and nails have been driven into the molding itself, apparently an attempt to repair separation at the junction points. Finally, Mountain View from Lake by an nknown artist (signed simply "-u-") Oil on board. This is the smallest shipping item, with artwork measuring approximately 13" wide and 9 1/4" high by sight. There are some abraisions present in the lower center portion of the image. Not inspected out of frame. Wooden frame measures approximately 15 1/2" wide, 12" high and 1" deep. Frame exhibits wear throughout its finish and chipping in the moulding itself. Large, heavy shipping items. Multiple boxes may be necessary to transport this group. Please inquire regarding shipping rates prior to bidding. Keywords: Connecticut, landscape, art
