UPDATE: Even though the poster has not been examined out of the frame, it is likely that the visible creases are from the poster being laid down. Ceintures Bretelles Filver poster, marked "apres Jean D'Ylen" (after Jean D'Ylen). French, ca. early - mid 20th century. Lithograph on paper. D'Ylen (French, 1886 - 1938) was a well known poster artist of the early 20th century. This Art Deco poster, for Filver, advertizes the company's suspenders and belts. Marked in lower left corner "Affiches Gaillard - Paris - Imp. 30.0210". Good condition overall, minor creasing visible. Great, bright colors. Framed behind glass, not examined outside of frame. 47" tall by 31 1/4" wide (opening), 48 1/4" tall by 32 1/2" wide by 1 1/4" deep (framed). This is a special shipping item.
