Vic-0 model Talking Machine disc player. Serial number 1870A. Manufactured 1909-1910. Crank turns, turntable spins, speed control and brake both function but when a record is placed and the needle is dropped, the device slows and stops under the weight of the arm. Base unit measures approximately 10 3/4" in width, 7 1/4" in height and 10 1/2" deep. The bracket and horn piece measures approximately 20" long with the opening of the horn measuring 13 1/2" across at its widest point. Finish appears original.
