Disc player manufactured in or around 1902 by Columbia Phonograph Co., New York. This piece is believed a variation on the AH Graphophone model. Tested. Turntable does not engage after cranking. Base unit measures approximately 11 1/2" square and 6 1/4" in height. Dark walnut finish appears original. There is a rough section of wood in one of the corners that indicates a repair did occur at some point. Features a bracket of zinc and an arm of wood. Possibly a later reconstruction as most other examples feature both components constructed of zinc. The witch's hat horn exhibits some dents and patina consistent with its age. There is some corrosion of the leather piece linking the reproducer to the horn. Bracket, arm and horn measure approximately 22" in length. The opening of the horn measures 11 1/2" across. Sold As-is. Heavy shipping item. May require multiple boxes due to number of components. Please inquire regarding shipping rates prior to bidding.
