Framed display of items collected at a Mandan village archaeological site along the banks of the upper Missouri River. Included are various implements from everyday tribal life: trade points, a fishing hook, and various tools crafted of bone. Items are set in a bed of soft foam within the frame. Wooden octagonal case measures approximately 18" wide and 13 1/4" high and exhibits some scuffs, scratches and dings throughout.
