Oil on cardboard painting by noted French painter Eugene Brouillard (1870 - 1950). An intriguing Post-Impressionist scene showing a landscape in the South of France, likely near Lyons. Brouillard executed this painting in oil paint with graphite and ink, and he left much of the brown cardboard surface visible. Signed "Brouillard" in lower left. Good condition, foxing on reverse of cardboard. 35" by 22 ½" (panel), 40 ¾" by 28 3/8".
