Collection of Japanese woodblock prints by Toshi Yoshida (Japan, 1911 - 1995) and his son, Tsukasa Yoshida (Japanese, b. 1949). Includes one "Waterfall" print by Toshi from 1970. Two unframed "Waterfall" prints and two unframed "Stone Lanterns" prints, all by Toshi. Two prints entitled "Maple" by Tsukasa. 21 3/4" tall by 15 1/8" wide (Waterfall), 16" tall by 11" wide (Maple), 7 3/4" tall by 10 3/4" wide (Stone Lanterns). Framed Waterfall print: 22 7/8" tall by 16 1/8" wide by 7/8" deep.
Provenance: from a Connecticut collector of ukiyo-e prints, who bought works directly from Toshi and Tsukasa Yoshida.
