Full size (4/4) violin by C.F. Hopf of Klingenthal, Germany. German, ca. late 19th - early 20th century. Body length: 14". Neck length: 9 1/2". Total length: 23 1/2". Spruce top, curly / tiger maple back, flamed maple neck and pegbox. Fingerboard, tailpiece, and chinrest are ebony. Soundpost looks intact. Marked "Hopf CF" on interior of soundbox and branded "HOPF" on back of body. Violin appears in good condition, minor wear on edges and back of neck (loss of varnish). Includes extra bridge, vintage box of gut strings, vintage rosin, and advertising envelope for strings. Includes two unsigned bows, (bows as-is) Minor wear, breakage of hair. Both 29" long. Includes case with label, "Liflow"?
