Vermont Farm Scene by Meriden / Wallingford, CT native artist John Backstrom (1899 - 1983). Signed on work itself and dated 1965 in pencil en verso. Oil on canvas. Artwork measures approximately 15 5/8" wide and 11 1/2" high by sight and is in fine condition. Not inspected out of frame. Wooden frame is in fair condition with dings, scuffs and scratches throughout. Frame measures approximately 18 1/4" wide", 14 1/2" high and 1 1/2" deep. Keywords: landscape, art
