Wave Crest plaque displaying a lady dressed in pink standing in the forest. Produced by C.F. Monroe Company of Meriden, CT. Late 19th - early 20th century. White opal glass with blue matte finish and gilt details. Hand painted scene of the young woman in the forest. Dressed in pink and with flowers in her hair, she leans on a wood post next to a tree with initials "carved" into it. Colors are quite good. In gilt brass / bronze frame with floral decorations. Some patina on frame, one large repair on top finial. Cardboard backing. Painting itself is in good condition. 16" tall by 9" wide.
