Two 2001 Smithsonian American Buffalo commemorative silver dollars. Produced by the United States Mint for the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. These popular commemoratives were based on James Earle Fraser's design of the Buffalo Nickel, and inspired the current $50 Buffalo gold coin produced by the Mint. 90% silver, in boxes and cases from the U.S. Mint. In Proof and Uncirculated condition, encapsulated by the Mint. Total silver weight: about 1.7 OZT.
