Bronze statuette of a nude woman. European, possibly 19th century. Modeled in the classical style, with a round pedestal with a garland motif. The woman stands in contrapposto, with her arms moving as in dance. One arm looks to be repaired, and the head may have been repaired as well. Tests as brass / copper alloy with chocolate finish. 12 1/2" tall. Spelter sculpture of a mariner. Marked "Marin par Ruchot" on plaque. Foundry Mark: "Fabrication Francaise Paris. Made in France".
