Two leather belts with strands of Cowrie shells stitched to the pieces' lengths. The first features three strands of Cowries, the other, slightly wider belt, five. Both measure approximately 33" long with 8" ties at both ends. In fine condition. Four leather headpieces, two with strands of Cowrie and two with strands of ground-down spire shells. All four feature interesting bronze beads interspersed with the shells. Headpieces range from 16" in length to 18" (not counting ties at the ends). Metal components exhibit tarnish and oxidation. Spire shells are somewhat roughly hewn by artisan. Three woven Nassa shell pieces, the largest of these measuring 15" long and 4" wide. These items show quite a bit of degradation with strands loosing from the bark cloth backing and general fragility.
