Work by T. Bailey; not a single artist, but a pseudonym used collectively by many selling tourist art in the Cape Ann area of Massachusetts throughout the early to mid 20th century. Oil on canvas. Artwork measures approximately 24" x 32" Surface is good to very good with craquelure, and surface grime. Gilt frame is overall fine, with some wear to the finish. Frame measures approximately 28" wide, 35 7/8" high and 7/8" deep. Included is a brief typed history of the titular merchant ship. Large shipping item.
