T. Bailey (American, ca. late 19th - mid 20th century), "Lakeport, NH: 1/2 Mile Across Bridge". Undated. Signed "T. Bailey" in lower left corner. T. Bailey did not exist; "T. Bailey" was a pseudonym given to various New England artists by art dealer Morris Hambro, who would sign their paintings "T. Bailey". This painting is a little different than most T. Bailey paintings, showing an inland New England village scene in Lakeport, New Hampshire. Good condition, minor craquelure on paint. Titled in pencil on reverse of canvas. Framed. 22 3/4" wide by 18 3/4" tall (opening), 23" wide by 19" tall (canvas), and 28 3/4" wide by 24 3/4" tall by 1 1/2" deep (frame).
