A Sterling Silver Pin, Marked 925 DGS. Floral form, with two natural Lavender / Purple Quahog Pearls measuring approximately 9 mm x 9 mm, and 8mm x 8mm. Pearls are glue-mounted with an unknown shiny brown material. Family Reports that the pearls were not drilled prior to mounting, but pearls have not been removed from the setting. Total length is 65 mm. total weight: 9.8 grams. Pearls show natrual inclusions and lines. Northern Quahog Mercenaria, Harvested in Barrington Rhode Island 1930's-1940's. This is one of eight lots in this auction from the same family of fishermen and dock workers.
