Circa 1904-1907 disc player. Promotional sales item with unique turntable spindle 1/2" in diameter that can only play discs with correspondingly sized center hole. Having no disc of this sort at hand, playback is untested. Crank turns, turntable spins (with an intermittent grating noise) and brake mechanism engages and disengages (the brake pin does slide right out and is unaffixed). Finish and decal appear original, as does the paint on the morning glory horn. Exhibits wear consistent with age. Base unit measures approximately 11 1/4" square and 6 1/2" high. Horn and arm section measures approximately 16 1/2" and the eight-panel horn 17" across at its widest point. Heavy shipping item. May require multiple boxes due to number of components.
