Archive of papers, slides, and photographs from various scientific departments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). American, ca. 1970s and 1980s. Much of the material seems to be Physics related, including photos and information on projects at Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory, a particle accelerator. Much seems to be from a Dr. E. DiSalvatore. These papers and photographs include images of various professors, papers and research (including an A.B. thesis), and astronomical photographs, such as one of Saturn and its rings, another of the Andromeda Galaxy, and another of the constellation Orion. In addition, there are many boxes of slides. These include slides from the Nuclear War Graphics Package from the 1980s, which feature slides comparing American and Soviet readiness, nuclear capability, and even ICBM missile types. Other slides include images of electron distribution, atomic spectra, snowflake images, and more. Over 100 pieces. Condition varies, some wear / aging on pieces as expected. Some slides have fading.
