Marked Meissen porcelain figurine. German, mid 20th century. This figurine of a woman with apples was produced at the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, the oldest active porcelain workshop in Europe and the Western world. Meissen is also well-known for its figurines in particular. This example has excellent paint and gilding. Marked with Crossed Swords mark in underglaze blue, incised "106: 17", and red overglaze "14". 5 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" wide.
