Framed painting signed L. Papa lower right. Likely the work of Italian artist Louis Papaluca (Luca Papluca the younger) Oil on canvas. Painting measures approximately 9 3/4" wide and 7 3/4" high by sight and is in overall fine condition. There is a single small scrape in the blue ocean waves and what appear to be some impression marks throughout but this is likely the result of the canvas not being taut originally. Gilt wood frame measures approximately 15 1/4" wide, 13 1/2" high and 1 1/4" deep. Exhibits quite a bit of wear in the finish but does not appear damaged. Back paper wrap is deteriorating somewhat.
