Celadon porcelain figure of a komainu or shisa, a guardian spirit, produced by Makuzu Kozan's workshop (their mark is stamped on the bottom of the work). In very fine condition with only some wear to the felt pieces on the bottoms of the creature's paws and a small chip in the back of the right paw .
