Group lot of 17 United States military bayonets and scabbards. American, ca. mid 19th - early 20th century (one is British). All with scabbard unless otherwise noted. 1 Model 1855 bayonet (Civil War period), 1 Civil War surgical amputation blade, 3 Model 1873 bayonets (Indian Wars), 2 Krag bayonets (Model 1896 [no scabbard] and 1902, Spanish American War and Philippine Insurgency), 1 Model 1905 (marked 1909) Rock Island Armory Springfield Rifle bayonet (WWI), 1 Model 1913 Springfield armory bayonet (WWI), 2 Model 1908 Springfield Armory Parade Bayonets, 1 Remington bayonet for rolling block rifle (possibly Russian contract) (ca. WWI), 2 Model 1918 Remington bayonets (WWI), 1 McKinney's 1886 bayonet scabbard, 1 artillery sword scabbard (leather, late 19th century), 1 British MR-1 bayonet. Condition varies, from good to as is, with oxidation, loss. From 10 1/2" to 23" long. 8. SHIPPING: Shipping and transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer. NEA ships most items in-house. Once your auction invoice is paid, you will be contacted by our shipping department. We use the Shipping Saint Platform to manage the shipping process from start to finish. Shipping is billed separately from auction invoices. Shipping is calculated as follows: Cost of Materials, Labor for packing, cost of shipping label, and required 1% Insurance. Many Items we offer at auction are difficult and time consuming to pack properly. It is the buyers responsibility to obtain quotes prior to the auction, and have items picked up withing 14 days of the auction date. OVERSIZE/SPECIAL: Certain auction items exceed standard shipping fees and may require over-sized and heavy shipping surcharges.
