Painting by American artist Kirk Stinweis (1967 - ), a New York/Connecticut native who later moved west (that influence is certainly evident here). Signed and dated in work (1984). Oil on canvas. Artwork measures approximately 19 1/2" wide and 15 1/2" high and is in fine condition. There appears to be an errant brush stroke that could be mistaken as damage, rising above a plateau in the image's distant background. Not inspected out of frame. Wooden frame measures approximately 23 1/2" wide, 19 1/2" high and 1 3/4" deep and is likewise in fine condition. A GotArt? biography of the artist has been affixed on verso.
