Two wood carved samban (or tshambwan) suspension hook figures by the Iatmul people of Papua New Guinea. Both in excellent condition, the smaller figure has felt pieces affixed to its outermost edges to prevent contact wear. The larger of the figures measures approximately 38 1/2" x 12" x 2 1/2".
