Marked Hans Cullmann custom jewelry necklace, set with a central Spanish colonial silver coin. Coin is a 1756 8 Reales (Piece of 8), from the reign of Ferdinand VI and struck at the Lima, Peru Mint. The coin is pitted, and there is a large crack in the top center. The setting and one detachable Byzantine chain are gold plated sterling silver (the setting heavily plated). Setting is set with 6 pink and light blue tourmalines. Another detachable chain is set with cut garnet beads. Garnet bead chain has 18K gold clasps. With either attachable chain, the necklace is about 17" long (choker / princess). Good condition, expected wear. Total gross weight: 201.7 grams / 129.6 dwt / 6.48 OZT.
