Handel Ware humidor with a bulldog and the inscription "The Old Sport". Produced by the Handel Company, Meriden, CT. American, ca. late 19th - early 20th century. Hand painted and transfer decoration of the bulldog, a beer mug, and a pipe. Metal lid and collar. Good condition overall, minor wear and patina as expected. 6 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" wide. Unmarked.
