Four intricately carved pieces of jade (ranging in color from a warm white to celadon green). Represented here are one simple ring shape cut with fine ornamental design, one circular plaque of abstract floral design encompassing Chinese calligraphy, one Belt buckle or toggle with the depiction of birds sitting among branches of trees in bloom and one moth form pwndant in flight. This latter piece exhibits some edge wear, nicks and small flecks of red pigment throughout. The calligraphy piece displays evidence of adhesive application at the area around the bore hole for hanging. All pieces show evidence of age and hand carving. Largest item (butterfly medallion) measures approximately 3 1/4" at its widest point and 2 7/8" tall. The smallest item's diameter measures approximately 2". Combined weight of items: 5.055 ozt (157.2 g). From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984.
