Five figurines carved from the pits of drupes. Two depicting men eating, one erotic with phallic figure action, one an intricately worked miniature boat with calligraphy inscribed on the bottom of its hull and one of a woman (possibly the Bodhisattva Guanyin). The latter is the largest item of the group, measuring approximately 2 1/2" high. Each piece equipped with cord to be hung as toggles or pendant. All are in very good condition. From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984. Her many travels took her through Central America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the South Pacific. Keywords: Asia, Asian, China, vintage, antique, carving, woodcarving, miniature
