Wooden letter / document box with burl wood veneer and brass fittings. Likely English / British, ca. mid 19th to early 20th century. Box locks with a key (included). Inner document holder is present, though some pieces are broken. Locking mechanism works. Blue and white cloth lined interior, some tears. Expected wear, dust from age. Paper on bottom has worn away in areas. 7 3/8" tall by 10" wide by 5 3/4" long.
