Original, Period polychrome jar with depictions of birds and rosettes among decorative patterns rendered in natural pigments. Piece measures approximately 9 1/2" high and 12" wide at its widest point. There is a small chip in the rim which leads directly to a hairline vertical crack that runs approximately 5 - 6" and general age-related wear and fading to the piece. Overall in very fine condition.
