8 assorted inkwells/bottles: 1 leaded copper bald eagle glass inkwell measuring approximately 6 1/2" high and 2 7/8" wide (the largest of the inkwells). 1 brass tray with buffalo figure and glass inkwell. 1 etched glass inkwell. 1 Draper's lead and glass inkwell (bears inscription "patent Jan 7th, 1852"). 1 textured glass ink bottle with twist top cap manufactured by Sanford's (the smallest of the inkwells measuring approximately 1 7/8" high and 1 1/2" wide). 1 Sheaffer's Skrip glass ink bottle (heavily stained by red ink). 1 Parker glass ink bottle 1 simple glass ink bottle with a cork stop, manufacturer unknown. Two sterling silver ashtrays (approximately 4" in diameter) and a letter opener bearing the Silliman College of Yale University crest. Tarnished. Marble handled letter opener. 9 1/2" in length. Mabie Todd dip pen (approximately 7 1/2" in length) in presentation box. One delicate Mother of Pearl dip pen (approximately 5" in length) in presentaiton box. Box is heavily worn with only a single hook and no clasps. 21 assorted desk pens. 13 of unknown manufacture, the rest from American Pencil Co., E. Faber, Eagle, Kritzler, Spencerian and Wahl. Dip, fountain and ballpoint among them. Some 14 karat nibs. 10 desk pen bases of unknown manufacture. Of marble chiefly. Two metal. One plastic. Largest of these measures approximately 4" x 3", the smallest approximately 2 1/2" by 2 1/2". 4 desk pen sets of unknown manufacture. Two marble bases. One of plastic. Another is wood carved (in the image of a pack mule). Largest of these measures approximately 4" by 3 1/2" with a pen measuring 8 1/2" in length. Condition varies.
