Chinese blue and white porcelain teapot for the kung fu (gongfu) tea ceremony. Chinese, age and period unknown, possibly Ming or Qing Dynasty (16th - 19th century). This small teapot has blue underglaze decoration of phoenixes and cloud bands on the body, and auspicious objects on the lid. Marked in Chinese characters on the interior of the lid.
