Wood carved male antelope headdress from the Bambara/Bamana people of the upper-Niger region of Mali. Approximately 33 1/2" tall, the headdress is mounted to an octagonal wooden base 1 3/4" high. In overall good condition but there is some damage to the nose area and tip of one of the horns and general wear throughout. From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984.
