19th Century Carved bamboo, brass and terracotta pipe. A wood carved frog sits near the junction of bamboo and brass elements. In very good condition overall. Of note are two stress fractures running parallel along the length of the mouth piece. Also, the base of terracotta bowl has been skillfully reattached to metal portion with adhesive at some point. One would never notice the repair except under the closest inspection. Piece measures approximately 19 3/4" long and 3 1/2" high fully assembled. From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984.
