Wood carved mask (from either the Bobo or Bwa tribes of Burkina Faso) depicting what appears to be a bat. Measures approximately 64" x 10" x 5" and is in generally fine condition. There is some cracking in the wood and instances of damage to the paint. Hooks have been drilled into the reverse for hanging on wall. From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984.
