Vintage Erector set, produced by the A.C. Gilbert Company of New Haven, Connecticut. An early version, this particular set seems to date from between 1916 and 1924. American, early 20th century. Contains an electric motor, wheels, and many girders, bolts, and strings for the use of pulleys. Also included is a manual, which seems to be original with this set. Good condition, minor wear / patina. Not checked for missing pieces. Manual has tears, wear as expected. Still readable. Box: 13" long by 9 3/8" wide by 3" tall.
