Collection of six Japanese woodblock (ukiyo-e) prints, including a recut edition of Hokusai's "Under the Wave off Kanagawa" (or the Great Wave), from "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji". Original ca. 1830 - 1832. Also included is a print of two fashionable ladies (in the style of artists like Kuniyoshi), Arai Yoshimune's "Suma Beach at Night", Takahashi Shotei's "Flower Seller on a Rainy Day", a recut of Hanabusa Iieho's "Fete Day Dance", and a recut of Hiroshige's "Evening Snow at Kambara" from the series "Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido". Condition: varies. The Great Wave is in very good condition, while some of the other have wear and tearing.
