This is a group of 5 sterling silver salts with cobalt blue glass. A round controlled bubble glass bowl with symmetrical bubbles and a silver collar, 1 1/4" X 2". A three-footed trefoil shaped silver holder with cobalt blue insert. Ornately chased garlands around salt. Marked ‘Sterling.’” 2" X 3/4". A late 18th century sterling master salt with cobalt liner, with original cobalt liner standing on three feet. The manufacturer is Pinkney & Scott (bottom marked with Lion and under it P&S) circa 1789-90. The silver holder has some dings and dents, 2 1/2" X 1". A petite fancy silver holder for thick cobalt blue liner, 1 1/4" X 1" X 1". A hinged cover example with matching spoon and cobalt blue liner. The silver is elaborate and well done, 2" X 1 1/4" X 1 1/2". The glass in all of these are free of chips, cracks and repairs.
