14 double open salts made of porcelain, pottery, and glass. American, European (French and German), and Japanese, ca. late 19th - early 20th century. 3 glass double open salts, 2 pottery open salts, and 8 porcelain open salts. Animal figures (chicken, cat, fish, elephant, pig, and duck), people, and plant life are represented. Marks include Pate de Limoges, Japan, France, and one mark identified as Conta & Boehme. one faience marked "France" and one glazed terracotta. 12 glass salts: clear glass, opaline glass, and colored glass. Pressed / Pattern glass. Two opaline / milk glass salts are marked "Vallerysthal". From Cristallerie de Vallerysthal of France. Also pressed / pattern glass, possibly Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG). Condition varies, good to as is. Some pieces have chips, and the Pate de Limoges piece was broken and has been repaired. 2 1/2" 3 1/4" tall. This is a special shipping item. Please read shipping terms carefully.
