36 pottery and ceramic open salts. Mainly European, early 20th century. 9 French faience (tin glazed terracotta) open salts / salt cellars. Produced by Henriot, Quimper and Locronan, France. Marked Pernin also represented. French, ca. 20th century. Four double salts: One pair of shoes, one pair of swans, two pairs of floral and couple designs. Five single salts. One is marked "Grand Hotel Val-Andre". Other salts include English Torquay / Devon Mottoware, Italian faience (one piece from Orvieto), Doulton Lambeth, Porcelain (Copeland Spode, Landcaster and Sandland, Rorftrand Bengali), Ravenscourt, and others. One open salt from 1924 Schnectady Exposition. Condition varies from very good to some cracks / chips / nicks. 13/16" tall to 2" tall. This is a special shipping item.
