Two sterling silver golf and tennis trophies from Woods Hole, MA. American, ca. early to mid 20th century. One pitcher made by Shreve, Crump & Low (marked as 3 1/2 pints). 7 3/8" tall by 8" wide. Inscribed "Woods Hole Golf Club Aug. 26th 1916 Thirty-six hole handicap medal play --- First Prize Won by E.N. Fenno Jr." Floral decorations inscribed as well. One sterling silver bowl, produced by Dominick & Haff (Paul Revere Reproduction). 10 inch diameter by 4 7/8" tall. Inscribed "Woods Hole Bowl Presented by F.D. Bartow and B.D. Mosser for Competition in Tennis Mens Singles Winner 1932" and inscribed with 9 names (including one name twice).
Both are in good condition, with expected wear from use and age. Total weight: 49.8 OZT
