Two oil on board paintings of Meriden, CT. One is signed by local artist Frederick Matzow (Norwegian / American, 1861 - 1938), and the other is manner of Matzow. Both paintings are landscapes of Meriden and Central Connecticut. Good condition, minor aging as expected. Framed in gilt and molded wood frames with minor areas of loss. Signed piece is 12 1/2" wide by 7 1/4" tall (board), 14 7/8" wide by 9 7/8" tall. Unsigned piece is 7 1/4" wide by 9 3/4" tall (board), 9 3/4" wide by 12 3/8" tall.
