Two figural art glass dishes by noted British-American studio glassmaker, Maurice Heaton (1900 - 1990). One includes its title card, signed by Heaton. This one is called "Hiking", and is number 37 out of 50 examples. Design no. 1772. This dish shows three figures who are walking, possibly a family. Signed "M.H." below them. Clear glass with applied brown. 8 1/8" by 6 1/4" by 1 3/8". The other dish is inscribed "#1817-17-50 Maurice Heaton". This one shows two women feeding a bird out of a dish. Signed "M.H." below the figures. Clear glass with applied red, brown, and green. 8 1/8" by 8 1/8" by 7/8". Good condition.
