Edo/Meiji era musket. Untested. Wooden stock with brass engraving of a bonsai tree by the trigger and decorative floral insets. Iron octagonal sighted barrel measuring approximately 39 1/2" long. Bore measures 11.37 mm. Wood finish is worn away in some high contact areas and there is a sizable chip missing near the bore. The barrel exhibits quite a bit of rusting inside and out.
