Marked 14 karat gold pendant set with an Austrian 4 Ducat gold bullion coin, dated 1915, as well as 13 melee diamonds, an oval cabochon of red topaz, and mother of pearl. Marked "585 14K". Perhaps the work of Hans Cullmann of Germany. The 1915 4 Ducat coin depicts the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph I (r. 1848 - 1916). The coin has much mint luster, with scuffing and scratches on it. The coin is .986 gold (nearly pure, 24 karat gold). Topaz is 6 mm by 4 mm. Entire pendant is about 60 mm by 44 mm. Total weight: 24 grams / 15.3 dwt.
